The entire Ridgeview High School community was left in shock following the sudden passing of 16-year-old Noah Caceres on Wednesday 22nd February 2023. He had been a part of the school since freshman year, beloved by his peers, teachers, and coaches alike, who recall him as an inspiring student-athlete, and gamer who not only excelled in the classroom but in sports as well. Noah was known to bring out his best during every game by putting his all into each play, setting a shining example for those around him.
His loss has left many hearts heavy with grief and although he is no longer here physically, memories of his infectious positive energy will live on raising up those around him. Keep reading the article to know more about Noah Caceres and his cause of death.
Who was Noah Caceres? Know more about him
Noah Caceres was a Ridgeview High School student, residing in Bakersfield, California. Born to his mother Yadira Caceres & father Aris Caceres, Noah was the youngest son in his family. Noah was enthusiastic and had dreams of becoming a professional gamer. He was 16 years of his age when he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma cancer in 2021.

The Ridgeview High School community was deeply saddened when news surfaced that 16-year-old Noah Caceres had passed away from cancer on Wednesday, 22nd February 2023. Since his diagnosis of osteosarcoma two years ago in 2021, Noah faced an uphill battle with strength and courage. Though the chemo made impressive progress in the beginning, the cancer unfortunately returned in May 2022, leaving Noah to fight a seemingly unsurmountable struggle.
Noah Caceres despite of the grim prognosis, remained a passionate and enthusiastic gamer until his untimely passing. Last month, the Dream Machine Foundation showed their support by presenting Noah with a $5000 check alongside materials to help him continue living this passion while going through treatments in the hospital.
Tuesday a blood drive was held in Caceres’ honor which drew 101 donors, showing how large of an impact his life had on so many people.
Sadly, after fighting bravely for over two years, Noah passed away last Wednesday, 22nd February 2023. Funeral services are currently pending and are set to be announced soon.

Despite his youthful exuberance and promises of great futures, Noah’s life was tragically short.
