Christopher Brewer was an incredible man living a full and vibrant life. At the young age of 41, Brewer tragically passed away after being critically injured in a car accident in Velva, North Dakota on Sunday, January 22nd. He had served as an educator, coach, and Air Force officer while he also acted as a devoted parent and husband to his family. It seems that Brewer’s main purpose in life was to spread light with his cheerful personality and contagious smile; his positive demeanor left a lasting imprint upon those lucky enough to cross his path. His bright presence will truly be missed.
Bishop Ryan Catholic School posted that “as we work through the brokenness of losing him, we’ll remember Chris’ joyful laugh, his quiet reverence, and his devoted service to our country. His vocation was loving his neighbor; in his honor, we’ll continue that pursuit. Please keep Erica, Hope, Tristan and the entire Brewer family in your prayers. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.”
Who was Christopher Brewer?
Christopher’s willingness to serve in all aspects of his life was a quality that could not be taught. It was both innate and miraculous, as it is something that does not come naturally to everyone. He was motivated by an inner calling to selflessly put the needs of others before his own, and he acted on this impulse throughout his roles as a teacher, a coach, and a service member. Each station in life enabled Christopher to answer the call, and he made sure to use every opportunity to make a positive impact on those around him. He recognized his purpose in life—and displayed remarkable foresight when it came to living up to such high expectations of selflessness—which enabled him to make an indelible mark on others.

As of now, 6080 USD has been raised against the targeted amount of $20,000 that is needed to provide a dignified burial and help meet the immediate financial needs of their family. The campaign hopes to provide relief to Christopher’s wife Erica, his daughter Hope, and his son Tristan.
