In 2008, Chris Clark, an Asian American motorcycle racer, began competing in professional road races. He received the prestigious AMA Horizon Award in 2006, which is presented at the AMA Grand Championship Road Races to the rider with the greatest potential for AMA achievement. He started his professional racing career the following year in the AMA Pro Supersport division before upgrading to the AMA Pro Superbike division in 2010.

In 2010 and 2011, Clark competed in Yamaha Superbike races for his father’s Pat Clark Motorsports team. From 2012 through 2014, Clark rode with the Yoshimura Suzuki Superbike team. He and Team Zyvax R1 won the WERA National Endurance overall championship in 2010; nonetheless, his best season was in 2014, when he placed fourth in the AMA Pro Superbike Championship with five top-five finishes and one podium performance.

While Clark was well-known for his professional accomplishments, he was also regarded for being a kind and happy individual who always had a smile on his face, even on difficult days. He raced for all the right reasons, and people respected him for his sincere passion for the game.

Chris Clark followed the series religiously and was always smiling every time you would see him. He’s one of the good guys that would always make everything positive. He will be missed by all of us at the USMTS! RIP 8C”

Another person wrote, Becky Ramirez, “Ohh my so sad . Will be thinking of his wife and Conner . I can’t imagine the pain they are both going thru .”
