This a challenging story. indeed the issue of child labor is affecting the future generation and leaving a negative mark to the development of our societies. how are we going to build our nations if we are continuing to exploit and force our own children into child labour. i think there is need to intensify community sensitization of the ills of child labor and with the practical examples of what the ILO is doing, the rescued children like Emmanuel Amon and others can tell their stories to challenge and motivate others. Thumbs up ILO, and i believe the Malawi government will be motivated by such touching stories., these are our own children, we need to do something…!

What a wonderfully, uplifting story. However, you had the determination to take this opportunity and make full use of it. I do hope that you will be able to continue your studies and realize your dreams. You certainly deserve it. I worked at the ILO for 28 years before retiring last year and it makes me proud to know that the organization I worked for has helped you in this way.
